How it all started…
At Humble Man Pest Control, our story is rooted in family, passion, and a desire to create something meaningful. I’m a dad, husband, and business owner who was ready to step away from the relentless grind of corporate life and build something of real value—not just for myself, but for my family and community.
A few years ago, I worked for "Big T" (as we call it), where I enjoyed helping customers solve their pest problems and learning about the fascinating world of insects. But despite loving the work, I felt like just another number—working long hours with little support while watching customers get treated like nothing more than dollar signs. The company focused more on profits than people, pushing unnecessary services just to make a sale.
That didn’t sit right with me. I wanted to create something different—a company built on honest service, real solutions, and strong relationships with customers. That’s when the idea for Humble Man Pest Control was born.
But this wasn’t just about breaking free from the corporate grind. It was about teaching my kids the value of entrepreneurship and building something together as a family. My wife, the people-person of the family, jumped in to manage social media and marketing. Our daughter, a talented artist, designed our company logo (pretty amazing, right?). And my son, full of charisma, took on sales, knocking on doors with his natural charm and enthusiasm.
Together, we created a small-town business with a neighborly, no-pressure approach—and that’s exactly where the name "Humble Man" came from. We wanted to be the kind of pest control company you could trust, with the friendly, “I’ve got you covered” attitude you’d expect from a good neighbor.
